Judy Smit

Judy is a consultant at Terblanche Slabber Pieters Incorporated and focuses on all aspects of conveyancing, as well as making the registration process as smooth as possible for clients.

After obtaining her LL.B degree from UNISA in 2013, she joined the Terblanche Slabber Pieters Incorporated team in 2014 as a candidate attorney in the conveyancing department. During her articles, she developed a keen interest in property law, which she ascribes to the strong mentorship she received from senior professionals in the firm.

Judy is a proficient communicator with a good sense of humour who can listen well and pays close attention to what others communicate, both verbally and non-verbally. Her commitment to client service, her exceptional work ethic and friendly personality makes clients comfortable in knowing their matters are safe with the firm.

In her free time, Judy participates in developing educational activities and teaching aids appropriate for the youth, and presenting the activities in a way that maintains focus, while delivering planned outcomes, such as life skills development, spiritual growth, cultural appreciation and positive citizenship.
